Precautions
Procedure of Use Camelthorn (Alhagipseudalhagi) locally known as "javasiya", "javasa" is considered a noxious weed and is even prohibited or restricted in several regions. However, farmers of semi-arid wastelands of Surendranagar district in Gujarat are putting the shrubs to good use. When almost all vegetation dries up during summer months, camelthorn weeds remain thriving in hot sun. Fell the shrubs and use them as roofing of cattle sheds. The camelthorn roof protects livestock from becoming victims of sunstroke. The roofing makes the cattleshed as comfortable as airconditioned stables..
