Procedure of Use For healing such wound, he prepares an ointment by first burning an old leather footwear to get the ash. He then mixes 100 g castor (Ricinus communis) oil in the ash and applies this ointment on the affected legs three times daily for about 8 days which heals the wound completely. This traditional remedy is used by many other farmers in these parts.
