Procedure of Use To treat the condition, 20-kilogram pearl millet (Pennisetum typhoides) and two kg are mixed and fed to the animal over a period of three to four days. The cow or buffalo becomes oestrus within a week of this treatment. This is a traditional method learnt by farmers from their elders.
