PAS_1 "Kasnabhai of district Banaskantha treat cough in cattle with the help of "hargu" tree bark, "aankol" (Alangium salvifolium) bark, arugula (Eruca sativa) grass and spine gourd (Momordica dioica) root. For treatment, 100 g "hargu" tree bark, 100 g "aankol" (Alangium salvifolium) bark, 50 g arugula (Eruca sativa) grass and 50 g spine gourd (Momordica dioica) root - these four ingredients are powdered using a pounding stone or mortar. Then 500 g water is added to the powder and stirrred well to make a solution. Thereafter, the solid particles are taken out of the solution and the remaining medicine is drenched to the affected animal twice daily for three days. This will cure bloat in animal."

Procedure of Use To treat this condition, bulbs of onion (Allium cepa) are boiled and its extract is obtained. In this extract, seeds of carom (Carum copticum) are added and drenched to the affected animal for a week. Thus, the animal is cured of the cold problem. There is no side effect of this treatment.
