Precautions
Procedure of Use When an animal is wounded due to either an injury or by any other reason and if proper treatment is not given to the wounded animal, suppuration and maggot formation may occur. In case of maggot formation, Malabhai Rabari suggests the mixing of tobacco (Nicotina tobaccum) (low-grade tobacco used in cigars in this case) and kerosene and a paste being made out of it. This paste needs to be applied on the maggot wound. Malabhai asserts that by this treatment, maggot infestation and suppuration are cured. This is traditional treatment which he has learnt from his elders
