Procedure of Use In case poor or no lactation is observed in buffalo, farmer Valiram from Bhavnagar district of Gujarat crushes 100 gram each of jatropha (Jatropha curcas) plant and bastard teak (Butea monosperma) tuber and feeds the same to the buffalo along with fodder. After this medication is given for 2 - 3 days, the buffalo starts yielding milk. This practice is traditional and farmers in the Bhavnagar area use it for their barren buffalo.
