Precautions
Procedure of Use Heat stroke is sudden onset of illness from exposure to high temparature during the summer season. The symptoms in case of sunstroke in an animal are respiratory distress, high temparature, loss of consciousness and possible convulsions. In such a situation, Dudhiben Gohil has a soothing treatment for the animal. It is reliogiously kept under either pipal (Ficus religiosa) or sesame (Ficus benghalensis) tree. Thereafter cold water is sprinkled on the body of the animal and covered with a wet quilt. The cold quilt is kept on the animal for at least two hours. After the treatment, the animal recovers from heat stroke. This is traditional method used by many of the farmers. Dudhiben has learnt of it from her elders.
