If the animal does not become oestrus, Rambhai Kadachh takes the roots of Indian tree spurge (Euphorbia neriifolia) and extracts a juice from it. This juice is drenched to the animal every evening for eight days. This turns the animal oestrus. Many farmers in Amreli district use this traditional practice. |
