Procedure of Use	As a remedy 100 gm of sesame (Sesamum indicum) seed oil is mixed thoroughly with 25 to 40 g of tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) snuff to prepare paste which is applied on animals in morning and evening for two days to eradicate insects. It’s a traditional method and is used since last 20 years in the village. Has learnt the method from his forefather.

Other Medications / Treatments	The skin should be cleaned and kept dry prior treatment. Topical oxytetracycline (OTC) is often referred as the most reliable treatment as cows treated with OTC have a good recovery rate. Usse formalin, copper sulphate or a thymol-based disinfectant.
